The film This Rain Will Never Stop took the spectators to Ukraine as well as to Syria

The story of Andriy Suleyman from the film This Rain Will Never Stop brought attention to the vulnerability and destiny of refugees who must flee the war several times in their life. The Slovak film premiere was introduced by One World Film Festival in cooperation with International Organization for Migration (IOM) as part of the European Migration Network (EMN) activities on 5 November 2022 in Bratislava at the official opening of the 23rd festival year. One hundred and ten spectators saw the film in the cinema and 72 more watched it online.

40th edition of the EMN Quarterly

The European Commission published the 40th edition of the EMN Quarterly which informs on the current developments, publications, events and statistics in different areas of migration, integration and international protection at the level of the European Union and its Member States from July to September 2022.

Experience with integration of people from Ukraine was shared at the EMN meeting

Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and International Organization for Migration (IOM) as the members of the National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) for the Slovak Republic organized an EMN thematic meeting “Intercultural work of helping professions in asylum facilities and in integration of people from Ukraine”. The meeting took place on 12 and 13 October 2022 in Piešťany.
