From 18 to 30 July 2011 the second edition of the two-week Summer School of Ethnicity and Migration Studies was held in Bratislava and EMN was one of its partners.

In November and December 2012, members of the Slovak EMN National Contact Point (NCP) participated in the following interesting conferences and seminars:

On 6 July 2012, a representative of the EMN National Contact Point (NCP) in the Slovak Republic participated in London at a joint British and Italian EMN NCPs workshop entitled International Students in the UK and Italy: latest evidence and policy perspectives.

On 18 April 2012 representatives of the Slovak EMN NCP participated in the national conference of the Swedish EMN NCP on Entry and Stay of International Students followed by the EMN Cluster Meeting on 19 April 2012.

Freedom of Movement, a Human Right? was the title of the 6th National Conference organised by the EMN National Contact Point (NCP) in Luxembourg, held from 3 till 5 June 2013.
