IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the National Contact Point of the Slovak Republic organised a meeting with its main partners that took place in Bratislava on 13 December 2012.

On 13 December 2011 IOM International Organization for Migration as a coordinator of the National Contact Point of the Slovak Republic organised a meeting with its main partners in Bratislava. The meeting was opened by the Head of the IOM Office in Bratislava who warmly welcomed all the participants and thanked them for the cooperation in year 2011. Subsequently, she summarized and evaluated major IOM activities in Slovakia, which were financed by the European Commission, Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and the Government of the United States of America.

IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic organised on 14 December 2010 in Bratislava an expert meeting on the topic of Labour Migration in the Slovak Republic and in the EU Member States.

On 26 May 2010 IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point organised an expert meeting on the topic of Attitudes of the Public towards Foreigners and Migration in the SR.

In April and May 2013, EMN National Contact Point for the Slovak Republic held several presentation visits introducing European system of ad-hoc queries in the field of migration and asylum as well as presenting its use for employees of ministries and offices which are part of EMN activities in Slovakia.
