Working breakfast on EMN study titled Organisation of reception facilities for asylum seekers in the Slovak Republic, Bratislava, 29 October 2013

International Organization for Migration (IOM) which coordinates EMN activities in Slovakia held a working breakfast on the recently published EMN study titled Organisation of reception facilities for asylum seekers in the Slovak Republic. The breakfast was attended by the representatives of Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior as well as Bureau of Border and Aliens Police. The meeting was organised in Bratislava on 29 October 2013.

During the breakfast the author of the publication introduced the study content and Slovak organisation of asylum facilities in Slovakia. The study provides an overview of the organisation of reception facilities in the Slovak Republic for applicants for asylum. It also identifies good practices and existing mechanisms to ensure efficiency and flexibility of such facilities, while maintaining the required quality and cost level. The study covers mainly with regard to statistics, the period from 2008 to 2012.

EMN representatives distributed the printed study to the participants. Electronic format of the study is available on the EMN website in the English and Slovak language. The English version is available only as a questionnaire.
