Austrian EMN National Contact Point (NCP) hosted a conference on Austria and the global competition for talent – approaches to the immigration of (highly) qualified third-country nationals in Vienna on June 12, 2013.

On May 7, 2013, the international conference of the European Migration Network entitled Reception systems for asylum seekers – a comparative perspective took place in Stockholm.

Slovak EMN NCP representatives participted in the conference on Migration Flows Management - High Skilled Migrants in Slovakia organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic.

EMN National Contact Point in Ireland, holding current EU presidency, organised a conference focused on labour migration entitled Migration during and after the economic crisis taking place in Dublin on June 14, 2013.

On 18 June 2012, representatives of the EMN National Contact Point (NCP) in the Slovak Republic attended a Norweigan EMN NCP conference entitled Migration and Development which took place in Oslo.
