Studies examine in detail the selected topics in the area of migration and asylum. For the Slovak Republic they are available in a form of a questionnaire or they are developed into a compact text. The studies are elaborated based on a previously agreed and approved specification that is the same for all EU Member States and Norway.
Reception Systems, their Capacities and the Social Situation of Asylum Applicants within the Reception Systems (2006)
The study addresses two main aspects: a description of reception facilities in several EU Member States, the number, capacities and location of such accommodation centres and of other accommodation; and an analysis of the social situation of asylum applicants within the accommodation centres. The study also contains a description of the administrative and legal frameworks of the asylum application procedures. The Slovak Republic did not contribute to this study.
Impact of Immigration on Europe’s Societies (2006)
The study examines the impact of immigration on the economies, the cultural contexts, and on the political structures of the selected European countries. The Slovak Republic did not contribute to this study.
