On 16 - 17 October 2012 the Hungarian EMN National Contact Point (NCP) arranged a conference on intra-EU mobility of third country nationals together with a training on European Union law on immigration and asylum.
The conference took place in Budapest and was attended by a representative of the Slovak EMN NCP. The first part of the meeting was devoted to general framework and defining of the issue of intra-EU mobility and its obstacles. The conference was then aimed at maping available statistics, trends and practical experience on existing regimes of intra-EU mobility as well as mobility of workforce from the perspective of selected EMN NCPs.
The training was first and foremost aimed at forms and challenges of secondary migration, migration in the context of international and EU law including asylum law in light of recent international decisions.
