On 15 March 2011 Migrants in the Spotlight working breakfast with representatives of the media was held uder the auspices of the IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic and Milan Šimečka Foundation.

International Organization for Migration (IOM) which coordinates EMN activities in Slovakia held a working breakfast on the recently published EMN study titled Organisation of reception facilities for asylum seekers in the Slovak Republic. The breakfast was attended by the representatives of Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior as well as Bureau of Border and Aliens Police. The meeting was organised in Bratislava on 29 October 2013.

On 13 September 2013, EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic organised a working breakfast on the upcoming EMN focused study entitled Migrant Access to Social Security and Health Care in the Slovak Republic: Policies and Practice which will be elaborated by a contracted Slovak expert.

On October 9, 2013 the working breakfast to elaboration of the 3rd EMN focussed study on Identification of Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings in International Protection and Forced Return Procedures was organized in the IOM Bratislava premises. Representatives of the respective units of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic were invited to the meeting.

IOM International Organization for Migration as the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic organized two working breakfasts in Bratislava and Kosice on 27 September 2012.
