Practices and challenges in identifying victims of torture and ill-treatment in the context of international and temporary protection

The inform, produced in collaboration with the Red Cross EU Office, provides an overview of guidance and training on early detection and identification of victims of torture and/or ill-treatment in international protection procedures across EMN Member and Observer Countries. The report emphasizes the need for comprehensive training and the establishment of safe environments and appropriate conditions to support survivors and outlines existing challenges including the absence of a formal application process where the authorities can identify and detect victims.
