EMN Annual Reports on Migration and Asylum

Reports summarize the most important developments in the migration and asylum policies, legislation and activities that took place in the calendar year. Statistics are part of them. The reports are elaborated based on a previously agreed and approved specification that is the same for all EU Member States and Norway.

Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Policies 2008

The report informs about the most significant political and legislative developments, as well as public debates, in the fields of migration and asylum which occurred in the EU and its Member States during the year 2008, with the focus on third-country nationals rather than EU nationals.It also contains relevant statistical data. The report for the Slovak Republic describes national developments and put them in the context of the EU policies and legislation.

The report describes and clarifies the statistical and development trends in the field of migration and international protection in the EU and its Member States in 2008 compared to the previous period.

Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Policies 2007

The report informs about the most significant political and legislative developments, as well as public debates, in the fields of migration and asylum which occurred in the EU and its Member States during the year 2007, with the focus on third-country nationals rather than EU nationals.It also contains relevant statistical data. The Slovak Republic did not contribute to this report.
