The report informs about the most significant political and legislative developments, as well as public debates, in the fields of migration and asylum which occurred in the EU and its Member States during the year 2006, with the focus on third-country nationals rather than EU nationals.It also contains relevant statistical data. The Slovak Republic did not contribute to this report.
