Do you use the EMN Migration Glossary? Give us your feedback

23 July 2021

Whether you are working in the areas of migration and asylum or you are simply interested in them, the European Migration Network (EMN) has prepared an essential resource: a glossary that offers an EU harmonised terminology on migration and asylum. It contains approximately 500 terms and concepts, with terms translated into more than 20 languages, including Slovak.

Do you use the Glossary in practice? We will be glad if you join a survey prepared by the European Migration Network. It aims at finding out more about the profile of users and gathering feedback on the EMN Glossary. It will take approximately 2 minutes to complete the questionnaire. You can fill in the survey by clicking here.

The Asylum and Migration Glossary explains various concepts and it contains translations of terms from different areas of migration. It aims at making communication easier for policy-makers, practitioners, journalists, researchers, legislators, academics, interpreters, translator and people interested in the topic of migration.

The EMN Glossary is accessible online:
• from the central EMN website,
• as a mobile application for download by Android,
• as a mobile application for iOS users.

You can find more about the Glossary at our website in a separate section Migration Glossary.
