EMN Small Scale Meeting on Updating of the Integration Policy of the SR

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic (MoLSAF SR) as members of the National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) in the Slovak Republic organized a small scale meeting on "Updating of the Integration Policy of the Slovak Republic aimed at labour market" was held on 31 January 2020 in Bratislava.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the experience with the integration of foreigners – third country nationals into the labor market with key stakeholders. The participants identified the main areas in which changes need to be made, focusing on the specific measures within the competence of the MoLSAF SR. The suggestions and proposed measures will be used as a basis for updating the Slovak Integration Policy aimed at labour market, respecting the rights and needs of foreigners working in the Slovak Republic, employers and the wider public.
