In June 2013, IOM Bratislava as the coordinator of EMN activities in Slovakia held an expert meeting of selected stakeholders actively operating in the field of asylum and international protection.
Aim of the meeting was to deepen cooperation among state institutions, non-governmental sector and public administration. Discussion was mainly focussed on actual and persisting problems in providing care and support for migrants.
Furthermore, EMN presented its upcoming studies dealing with organisation of reception centres as well as identification of human trafficking victims in the process of international protection and forced returns in Slovakia.
