for the Slovak Republic

Meeting with the representatives of Serbian Commissariat for Refugees, Bratislava, 9 - 10 October 2012

19 December 2013

In the framework of the EU Funded Project CBMM, representatives of Serbian Commissariat for Refugees with a mandate to perform EMN National Contact Point (NCP) functions in the future underwent a two-day training at the EMN NCP in Slovakia on 9 - 10 October 2012.

The objective of the study trip was two-fold:

  • study the EMN system, its functions and the role and operations of NCP;
  • support the establishment of relations with NCP Slovakia as a first step toward expanding them progressively to NCPs in other EU countries.

The Serbian delegation discussed with NCP Slovakia and its Steering Board members all relevant issues related to role of the NCP and its functions and activities as well as EMN outputs and dissemination tools.
