This EMN Inform summarises the key findings from the respective of the EMN synthesis report aimed at identifying good practices and existing mechanisms in the EU Member States and Norway to allow for flexible and efficient reception facilities, whilst maintaining quality of reception conditions.

Tento inform EMN obsahuje hlavné zistenia zo súhrnnej správy EMN o právnej úprave a osvedčenej praxi pri zaistení a alternatívach k zaisteniu štátnych príslušníkov tretích krajín v členských štátoch EÚ a Nórsku.

This EMN Inform contains the main findings of the EMN synthesis report examining whether, and how, potential victims of trafficking in human beings are detected and identified in international protection and forced return procedures in the EU Member States and Norway. The report concerned both applicants for international protection and ‘failed’ applicants in forced return procedures who have received a (final) negative decision on their application(s) for protection or have abandoned the procedure.

This EMN Inform provides an overview of current aspects of return mainly in EU Schengen Member States and Norway including statistics. Information has been drawn from EMN sources: EMN Annual Policy Reports 2012, the EU’s 4th Annual Report on Immigration and Asylum 2012, EMN Country Factsheets 2012 and EMN Ad-Hoc Queries.

This EMN Inform provides information on the regulatory frameworks used at the national level to manage the migration of third-country nationals to the EU. It is based on information collected from the EU Member States plus Norway as well as relevant reports and studies conducted by the EMN.

This EMN Inform is based on the findings of the EMN Focussed Study 2013 on Attracting Highly Qualified and Qualified Third-Country nationals, informed by National Reports from the EU Member States and Norway, which describes policies and legislative measures of states in this area.

Immigration of International Students to the EU (2013)

This EMN Inform presents the main findings of the EMN Main Study with the same topic. It provides an overview of the immigration and mobility policies currently implemented by the Member States and Norway to allow international students to enter and stay in the EU for the purpose of study.

This EMN Inform complements the Commission's 3rd Annual Report on Immigration and Asylum and presents the main EU and national developments taking place in 2011 with regard to international protection, including related statistics. The information is also based on EMN National Annual Policy Reports 2011.

This EMN Inform complements the Commission's 3rd Annual Report on Immigration and Asylum. It provides a short overview of the main developments which took place in the EU in 2011 in response to the increasing migratory pressures, particularly in relation to six strategic priority areas of the EU Action on Migratory Pressure – A Strategic Response. The information on national developments is also based on the EMN National Annual Policy Reports 2011.
