European Migration Network

The National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic is composed of institutions as specified by the Agreement between the government of the Slovak Republic and IOM International Organization for Migration on coordination of the European Migration Network Activities signed on 20 July 2009. The coordinator of the National Contact Point is the IOM International Organization for Migration. National Contact Point is implementing the EMN activities based on the Annual Work Programme.

National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic is composed of following institutions:

• International Organization for Migration (IOM) – Office to the Slovak Republic, based on the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Interior of the SR and IOM on the coordination of EMN activities from December 2008 and based on the Agreement from 20 July 2009 IOM works as the national coordinator
• Ministry of Interior of the SR – Bureau of Border and Aliens Police, Migration Office, Section of the Legislative and External Relations
• Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the SR – International Relations Section
• Statistical Office of the SR – Section of Social Statistics and Demography
